Registration for the 2025 school session is now open with orientation being held Sunday, January 5, 2025 and classes starting Sunday, January 12, 2025!
Do you feel like you are called into the ministry as a teacher, pastor, evangelist, missionary or other area? Then you may want to consider His Place Ministry School as a means to be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to be effective at leadership ministry.
While it is God Himself that calls and gives a person as a gift to the church, empowering and equipping them with Spiritual empowerment, there is a biblical precedent for those who feel called into leadership ministry to be equipped to know and to teach the Words of God and to lead those in the laity with godly knowledge and wisdom. Additionally, they should have a sound knowledge of biblical doctrine and theology to keep those in the body of Christ from false teachings an error in their eay of living as a Christian:
Titus 1:7-9: 7 For a bishop must be blameless, as a steward of God, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, 8 but hospitable, a lover of what is good, sober-minded, just, holy, self-controlled, 9 holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict.
The inherent duties and responsibilities of those who are in pastoral positions and other leadership and teaching roles in the church that require a great deal of knowledge, wisdom and experience that is beneficial to those that they serve in the congregation and larger body of Christ.
Paul gives a detailed outline of responsibilities and job description to all who would seek to operate within the ministry:
Ephesians 4:11-16: 11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
