About HPCA
At His Place Christian Academy, our educational philosophy is to put God at the center of all subjects and our vision is to create students who will become lifelong learners and leaders while growing in a lifetime relationship with Jesus Christ.
We believe that these core values are not only conventional wisdom but are also echoed loudly in scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”
His Place Christian Academy believes that as Christians there exists a lifelong partnership between the divine and the human, the supernatural and the natural. We have a role to play in the plans and purposes of God, beginning in formative years as young children.
God sees us always and is interested in the smallest of details of our lives. He desires to take an active role in our development in all areas of life including education.
As a result, part of stewarding is to use gifts, talents and opportunities given to us to grow in knowledge. Therefore, it is our goal to keep God at the center of all things, especially the academic studies and education of our children.
The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:6 – 6, “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” We believe that keeping Jesus Christ at the center of both the formal curriculum of academic subject matter and the informal curriculum of moral, civic, and ethical development are all part of training up a child in the way they should go.
